Following a week of G8 tension, anti-poverty campaigns, and deadly terror blasts which gripped the UK, the tranquil
hills and fields of Balado proved to be the perfect escape from it all.
And under the constant eye of a blazing sun, a
beaming crowd of sexy cowgirls and lobster-like men swapped their fears, guilt, and tension for beer, music and sex; each
playing their part in what will go down in festival folklore.
Foo Fighters and Green Day continued their march to world domination, The
Killers squeezed half the country's population into one field, Hayseed Dixie emerged as the festival's
novelty love, and Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name' boomed live from the mammoth T
In The Park PA system for the first time in twelve years.
Forget mud, backstage snootery, hippy shindigging, and novelty nonsense, Ladies and Gentlemen, festivals just don't
