Don't wear that, wear this!

Big news for this summer, and always a festival favourite, are vintage floral prints. Grab this fab dress (Asos.com, £54) to really hit the tent peg on the head. Featuring ‘so-now’
mustard yellow with an amazing flower print, this dress ticks all the right style boxes. Complete your ensemble with a faded
denim jacket, Converse and these super statement sunnies (Topshop, £15).
Unless you’ve blagged your way into the VIP area,
leave your heels at home. Instead, opt for some plain lace-up pumps, or alternatively, take the style-notch up a gear by wearing
a slogan tee tucked into high-waisted shorts, teamed with a pair of edgy deck shoes.
When you’re heading
off to the arena, pack all your odds and sods into this great leather slouch bag (Dorothy Perkins, £45) and slip on some fringed gladiator sandals, a bleached denim
mini skirt and an oversized checked shirt for a chilled-out daytime look that’s both bang on-trend and really easy to
wear.
Another must have piece for your summer wardrobe is a washed-out denim playsuit. This really fits with the
all-American look, which is really hot for this season. Accessorise with this great belt (New Look, £6) and some fringed moccasin pumps. Finally, complete the look with
a straw hat for laid-back festival chic.
Unfortunately, the English summer sun’s appearance is an unpredictable
as Axl Rose’s. It’s more than likely you’re going to get at least a bit of rain, so make sure you’re
prepared by taking some wellies. They may seem a bit ‘Titchmarsh’, but wellies can be worn with flair. Throw on
an oversized cardigan and this piece of quirky feathered jewellery (Topshop, £15) and wear with a pair of fab floral tights teamed with some plain
green wellies and a grey tunic. You’ll look super-stylish whilst also keeping your feet dry.
A great look
that’s on trend, whilst also being perfect for festivals, is the revival of 1980s fashion. Lead the pack in a pair of
printed leggings and high-top trainers.
Glam up with lashings of gold jewellery and this great vintage style
Kiss tee (Topshop, £18) and sling on a leather biker jacket for a truly timeless festival
fashion statement.
Finally, by the time night falls and the headline band takes to the stage, it’s going
to be pretty ruddy cold. Make sure you don’t freeze and layer super-skinny jeans and a tee with a cute vintage knitted
jumper, along with a woolly scarf and beanie for that ‘borrowed-from-your-boyfriend’ vibe.
