How’s you first ever Homelands been so far?
I haven’t been around, actually but it’s a beautiful landscape. This is our first festival and then we’re doing Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds as well.
Which acts will you be watching later?
We’re going to see De La Soul now. I’m really looking forward to that.
What substances will you mostly be consuming today?
I haven’t got any drugs on me. I’m sorry. But I think Red Bull sponsors this thing. It’s everywhere. So I’ll be drinking Red Bull and vodka. I’ve had five.
Any groupie interest?
I haven’t experienced that myself but I’m really bad at catching up with that stuff. So I might have been (?) Are you one of them?
Hey big boy. If you’re giving, I’m taking! So what does 2003 hold in store for you?
Well, the album had been out for a while now so we’re just finishing the UK tour before going to the US.
What do you say to people who try to fob Junior Senior off as a ‘One Hit Wonder’?
We come from an independent label background. The whole thing about hitting the charts is kind of surreal and just a bonus. There’s no pressure from ourselves to make another hit. That was never what we were about. But it’s fine if we do.
