The NME says it knows who's going to headline next year's Glasto Pyramid Stage and is set to reveal the chosen three later today. (Of course, this is all rumour and none of the lineup will be confirmed by the festival until Spring next year.)
However, revealing a trio of cheeky, criptic clues in last week's edition, the paper described the mystery headliners as thus:
- "A Glam Icon"
- "Four Indie Superstars"
- "A Rock'N'Roll Legend"
Intrigued and slightly itchy, we set our message boarders the task of guessing who could possibly fit the identities of such cunning descriptions - assuming they are true, of course.
We at VF have since sifted through the guesses and chosen what we consider the most likely three to headline each day. Could any of these be the headliners for Glasto 2007?
"Four Indie Superstars"
- The Killers
- or Arctic Monkeys
- David Bowie
- Eric Clapton
- or err, Elvis
- or Kylie (failing that Scissor Sisters)
Will our message boarders be right? Will we be right? Will the NME be right? Who knows, but all will be revealed later... or next year.
