UK Festival Awards - voting closed!

The virtual ballot boxes have shut, voting in the UK Festival Awards 2005 has now closed. Thanks go to everyone who took part (almost twice as many of you voted compared to last year). The results will be announced on Wednesday...
Expect a few surprises, some twists, some tears...
The UK Festival Awards 2005 have been decided thanks to you. In just three weeks, more than 30,000 festival fans have posted more than 600,000 votes across 20 different categories.
All the awards have been decided by the public vote, apart from the Outstanding Contribution Award, which will be selected by Virtual Festivals.
And this year, to make the awards a bit fairer and open, all the event categories have been weighted on their capacities.
