Which event rocked the hardest? Which weekend ran the slickest? Which band made the summer theirs? What tune is still going round your head? And what was THE festival moment of the year?
All these questions and many more will be answered in the next few weeks as thousands of music fans vote to decide who will be among the UK Festival Award winners for 2005.

The UK Festival Awards started out last year when more than 17,000 of you voted. Glastonbury, Download, Creamfields, Big Chill, Muse, Franz Ferdinand, and Keane were among the winners. Click here the full 2004 results.
This year, we've added a few more categories to cater for the hundreds of bands and events that featured during the festival season just gone.
Last year's 'Best Live Act' award has been broken into genres (Urban, Rock, Pop and Dance) and we've added a 'Cult Following' award for the most healthily obsessive festival audience!
Other new categories are 'Best Official Website', 'Best Festival Headliner', 'Best Family Festival', and 'Festival Feel Good Act'. For more information on each category, click on the individual award titles on this page.
You are free to vote for as many or few awards as you see fit, but we would ask that you only vote for the categories you are qualified to do so. For example, if you didn't go to a single dance festival this summer, just leave it blank and move onto the next award.
Voting is open for three weeks. If you are over 18 you will be entered into a draw to win a year's supply of beer plus a pair of VIP tickets to the Carling Weekend: Reading or Leeds festivals.
Winners will be announced shortly after voting ends on 7 November and the awards will then be presented. All nominations were decided by a panel of journalists and photographers who worked tirelessly for Virtual Festivals during the summer.
