Be part of the first ever Festival Census!

28 June 2005

We bring you the world's first ever 'Festival Census' - your chance to dictate how festival organisers improve their events in future, have a bit of fun and win an awesome Sony MP3 Walkman!

The 2005 Festival Census has now closed

Please click on a photo to enlarge it...

What's the big idea?

The Festival Census is the latest interactive offering from VF designed to help spice up your fest life, following in the footsteps of The Festival Awards and our Desktop Alerts. It's a bit of fun but, like the awards, it also gives you power to make the festival scene better. The Festival Census aims to give festival organisers and promoters a definitive idea of what people want from their festivals, so they can improve them for everyone.

How does it work?

It's just a quick online survey that allows us to collect your habits, opinions, and characteristics to gain a fascinating insight into who goes to festivals and what they want (and don't want) from them. The Census will close at the end of the summer and the results will be published on this site for all to see, in the run-up to the 2005 Festival Awards. All submissions are completely anonymous and you will not have to give away any personal information.*

Why should I bother?

- It won't take long and your input will contribute to a positive and constructive exercise designed to make festivals better for everyone.

- It's fun, you'll be part of something brand new, and the results will be very interesting for all to see.

- You'll be entered (if you want to be) into a free prize draw to win an awesome Sony NWE407 Flash Memory WALKMAN!

So what are you waiting for?

Click here and have a go now!

* If you wish to be entered into the prize draw, we'll need your email address to contact you if you win, but this is completely voluntary and it will NOT be passed on.

- Click here to discuss this on the Festival Forums!
