Scarborough’s premiere free acoustic music festival is now in its fourth year. Twenty acts will be performing in front of 2000 people. The acts are primarily Scarborough based, in recognition of Scarborough’s winning the honour of being the most enterprising place in Europe.
The festival will be bursting with acoustic talent, headlined by two time Mercury Music Award winner Eliza Carthy. The performers will be found in the faux-oriental setting of Peasholm Park under the towering gaze of the recently rebuilt pagoda.
Small and intimate the festival will be a celebration not only of the music but the culture of the town Scarborough which has given rise to talented musicians for decades.
