Two years since their last Leeds Festival outing, Sheffield’s scene-metal poster boys BMTH are back to mix it up on the event’s premier stage.

Opening with The Radio 1 approved ‘Sempiternal‘ the hardcore kids gets straight to business.

An angrier than usual Oli Sykes orchestrates a level of carnage that would make the English Defence League blush with mosh pit vacuums laying waste to everything in front of the steel D barriers throughout their blistering set.

After demanding four circle pits Oli even tries to tell the security staff to get involved, although disappointingly, they don’t.

Can You Feel My Heart‘ and ‘Sleepwalking‘ are potent reminders why BMTH continue to survive a scene which forgets bands quicker than Kerrang! can publish their weekly metal bible.

By the time the inexplicably face painted Northern lads leave the stage there’s big questions to be asked of those who follow . . .
