Hailed as the most musically diverse of the indoor dance festivals on the U.K. calendar, Southport Weekender has grown to support a capacity of 6,500 across four purpose built arenas playing a heavyweight selection of cutting edge and classic soulful music right across the board from House, Jazz, Broken Beats, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Hip Hop, R & B, Soul, Jazz Funk, Rare Groove, Nu Soul, Afrobeat and Disco.

Held at Butlins Holiday Centre in Minehead, accommodation is warm and comfortable in the form of self-catering apartments. As well as the venues, the resort has a variety of facilities including: Splash Waterworld, Multi Sports Courts, a Cinema, Go Karting, a Funfair and 10 pin bowling. Dining outlets include Burger King, Pizza Hut and Costa Coffee, with an on-site bakery, Spar supermarket, launderette, newsagents and Hairdressers.

Tickets for the Southport Weekender usually sell out weeks in advance and the festival has previously hosted Carl Cox, Normay Jay, Soul II Soul and Gilles Peterson.
