Pukkelpop’s massive site in Kewiet, Hasselt in Belgium’s Flemish region presents an upgrade to business class in terms of leg stretching capacity.

The space is offered in the name of accommodating the 145,000 European revellers that now head to the festival each year to witness the trendsetting line-up incorporating the best of today and tomorrow’s rock, pop dance and electronica.

Bloc Party and Metallica were joined by the likes of Elbow, Pendulum and MGMT last year as a mix of comedy, theatre and other sideshow projects also took centre stage, something which can also be expected in 2009.

Hasselt is slap bang in the middle of three airports which all serve a number of European cities; Brussels and Liege airports in Belgium and Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. Train travel to Hasselt and Kewiet stations on the Belgian rail and bus networks are free with the purchase of your festival ticket.
