Now cemented as Canterbury’s most established and eclectic festival, Lounge On The Farm is set to return for it’s forth event at Merton Farm in the Kent countryside.
With an eye for a big name or two – New York Dolls, The Coral, The Bees – as well as an ear for the best emerging acts around – Black Kids, Lightspeed Champion, Johnny Flynn – the three-day festival is an eclectic mixture of old and new.
Artists and DJs perform across the event’s six stages at the corporate-free festival, which also boasts a wide selection of food and drink as well as local beers and ciders.
AGreenerFestival say this about the festival: Set in the beautiful Kent countryside, Lounge on the Farm has excellent on-site recycling, a solar powered cinema and amazed us with a fantastic range of local suppliers providing everything from local fruit and pies to local beer – saving on those food miles. The festival also does a lot to promote sustainability with a shuttle bus to and from Canterbury’s rail and bus terminals and an excellent website.
