Two years winner of ‘Best Dance Festival’ in the UK Festival Awards and the original ‘organised rave’, Creamfields has cemented itself as the ultimate beat marathon among eager field clubbers.

Starting life nine years ago in the Matterly Bowl (now home to Homelands), Creamfields has since moved to its spiritual home in Liverpool (although rumours persist that it could be about to move again.)

For 2006 at least though, an expected 40,000 odd clubbers will once again be making the bank holiday pilgrimage to Speke airport for some of the best dance DJs and live acts.

The action unfolds over nine hosted arenas, with local clubs Chibuku Shake Shake and GoodGreef both involved, but the main draw is likely to be the the Main Stage where the big hitting live acts will be coming out to play.
