Rapidly arranged as part of the worldwide race against time to help survivors of the Asian disaster, the Cardiff Tsunami Relief Concert brings together around 20 top acts who have helped sell out all 60,000 tickets.

Cardiff Millennium Stadium became the natural choice because of its size and the fact that it has a retractable roof, essential for any ‘outdoor’ gig in January you might say!

There has been nothing on this size and scale since Live Aid back in 1984 and organisers and all those involved should be heavily commended for their efforts in raising money and maintaining awareness for the plight of those affected by the Boxing Day disaster.
