From the brains behind the Bestival comes the brand new Camp Bestival. The festival is a twist on the British holiday camps of yesteryear and will even include the Hi-de-Hi style Bestival Bluecoats, only with Miguel from The Cuban Brothers in charge.
Held in the grounds of the beautiful Lulworth Castle, Dorset the festival is set to bring all the craziness of the Bestival for a three-day soiree on the Jurassic coastline. There will be five stages including a Balearic Bollywood arena, the Rock n Roll tent and the Come Dancing tent with all the acts hand-picked by Rob Da Bank.
There is an entire area for the children including a sports day, jousting, story telling and an insect circus. Other entertainment includes comedy, spoken word, theatre in the woods, films projected onto the castle walls and a real animal farm.
A plethora of accommodation is available including yurts, tipis, bivouacs, airstreams and gypsy caravans. Again the local WI ladies will be on hand with their tea and cakes and the Restival will return for those who just need to relax.
