Before fans spend weekends trouncing around in a muddy field over the summer, the eighth annual Camden Crawl will showcase many of the acts expected to hit it big in the coming year.
This newly extended three-day festival stretches for over a mile of the notorious indie stomping ground Camden in North London, opening the doors of over 30 venues to some 150 bands that have been handpicked by a panel of esteemed DJs, promoters, media and record labels.
New for 2009, the festival will have an outdoor stage with live performances, DJs and X-Games. A full programme of daytime activities including comedy, film, pop quizzes, bingo, busking, acoustic performances, workshops, poetry and karaoke will return.
There will also be late night clubs, surprise guests and after show parties, but you won’t be able to see it all so take advantage of the free festival download album.
