The ever-popular and intimate Blissfields attracts big names despite its small size.

With five stages to explore, including a very relaxed one hidden away in the woods, there’s a spectrum of music on offer from indie to jazz, ska to folk, and electo to reggae.

With previous performers on the Blissfields line-up including Laura Marling, Kid Harpoon and Super Furry Animals the festival is big on supporting local talent and charities.

If riding around on a tractor, partaking in open mic and sampling local food and ale is your thing – then Blissfields should leave a Cheshire sized smile on your face.

Both tickets and bars are reasonably priced (or very cheap in comparison to other festivals)

Blissfields won an award in 2007 for Best Small Festival and despite a little hiccup in 2008 (it was cancelled) the festival is going from strength to strength.
