This isn’t a party thrown by an oversized purple dinosaur, but a three-day extravaganza over the August Bank Holiday weekend that features ska and blues music as well as some of the best tribute acts in the country.

The festival, which is held at Barnard Castle, County Durham is expected to have over 2,000 people attending each day to watch the likes of Neville Staples, Steve Cropper with The Animals and T.Rextasy.

On Monday organisers will have a free area with games and inflatable for children. There will also be craft and trade stalls, two beer tents, and plenty of eateries over the weekend. Camping is available.
