he second spring instalment of All Tomorrow’s Parties will be curated by Texas instrumentalists Explosions In The Sky. Butlins in Minehead, Somerset will transform into a musical Mecca for indie and underground fans for the three-day affair in May.
Essentially the festival a live version of perusing the curator’s record collection with around 40 bands performing across two stages. Past line-up selectors have included Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portishead and The Simpsons’ creator Matt Groening.
Being in Butlins means there are tonnes of comfy facilities and sideline activities, such as swimming, go-karting and pool, while accommodation comes in the form of shared chalet.
