About End Of The Road Festival 2012

End of the Road festival is an independent three-day festival that started in 2006, when two friends who were huge music fans decided to make their dream come true by organising their own festival. The festival has gone from strength to strength, and fully lives up to its initial goal of creating an intimate festival with quality music and a friendly and relaxed feel.

The music is varied, including indie, folk, blues, garage blues, country, Americana, electronic, alternative, gypsy, pop, psychedelic, stoner rock and more. The policy is to only book bands that the organisers personally like and the music takes place across 4 stages.

The festival is family friendly and there are plenty of workshops for children and adults, both together and separately. There is also a focus on comedy, great films in the cinema tent (curated by Little White Lies), art installations, art exhibitions, literature talks, artist involvement in different areas of the festival, including impromptu sets across the site.

End of the Road also pride themselves with providing quality food, often locally sourced and organic, as well as a great range of quality beers, including local ales and a specially brewed 'End of the Road' ale.

The festival takes place at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens (North Dorset, UK) which is the perfect venue for a magical atmosphere, with its peacocks, macaws and history. There are many secret corners that play host to art installations, a library and a piano in the woods, a games area with Skittles, Table tennis, Table football and more.

End of the Road tickets are on sale now and include camping, with additional options for campervans/caravans etc.
