About End Of The Road Festival 2007
End Of The Road festival returns for a second year hot from winning 'Best New Festival 2006'. The 5000-capacity event is
set in the stunning Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset border.
The 3-day weekender gets bands involved in workshops
and DJ sets as well as their own sets. And you won't see big brands at this corporate-free event as the organisers make a
conscious decision to keep 'creative freedom'.
There's an emphasis on all the 'little things' that make a great festival
at the corporate-free event. Good food (organic, local, fair trade etc), quality beer, recycling and environmental initiatives,
and even 'caring and well-mannered staff'!
There will also be a Scandinavian twist with some of the acts hailing from
Northern Europe and loads of Scandinavian stuff going on, such as Viking games and Swedish food!
