About Dour Festival 2010
Dour has long been known as one of Belgium's most prestigious open-air events.
The European Alternative Event for
music lovers is revered for its musical diversity.
Six major stages (both indoor and outdoor) are set to welcome the
artists over four days. A host of stalls, stands and festival market will be at hand to provide punters with their every festival
wish whilst camping is available in abundance for accommodation.
The festival takes place on the planes of western
Belgium, shaped by the legacy of the coal mining industry. Punters from all over Europe traditionally flock to Dour every
year. Brussels International Airport is the nearest continental travel hub.
The festival is also easily accessible
on the national Belgian rail network. Hainin Station is the closest, providing links to the town of Mons and further afield.
Big
Green Coach have announced that they are working directly with this year's festival, providing ticket and travel packages
for fans.
The environmentally responsible travel company has a number of weekend camping passes for both sites with
coaches running from a number of major cities.
