About Dent Folk Festival 2008
Set in what is known as 'The Jewel of the Dales', Dent, which is around 16 miles from Kendal, Cumbria the Dent Folk Festival
is set to host another set of folk superstars and emerging talent this June.
Rachael Unthank and The Winterset, Rory
McLeod and Kris Drever are all set to bring the hills alive in 2008 along with a full programme of alternative activities
including workshops, street theatre, storytelling, children's crafts and open sessions.
Organisers don't run a 'festival
campsite' though there are several campsites within walking distance of the festival site.
