The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returns in its three-day format for 2008. The site is a similar size to the Reading Festival and it houses two main stages and three smaller tents.
The site itself is a polo field in the centre of the desert with rows of palm trees running alongside the edges. The line-up complements the stunning location with a host of huge acts and established names.
Bjork, Kings Of Leon and Arcade Fire all performed in 2007 and organisers are partly responsible for the reformation of Rage Against The Machine and Pixies in recent years.
Camping is available onsite but most opt for motel accommodation as it can get very cold at night. But dont forget your sun cream for the daytime as it is usually boiling!
