Indie-dance festival Cardiff Calling returns to the glorious greens of Coopers Field, Bute Park in Cardiff, for a second
day of live music, DJs and festival fun.
Held as part of the Metro Weekender (together with dance all-dayer South West
Four), the day-long festival will offer another roguish day of rock n' roll in the company of some of the world's biggest
names. Last year's sell out saw the likes of Snow Patrol, De La Soul and Badly Drawn Boy.
The 2007 version will be
more of a straight up 'live bands' affair, with a heavier emphasis on new and emerging Welsh bands across all three stages
- featuring for the first time ever, the 'Cardiff Calling Unsigned' Arena. A nostalgic throwback to the baggy era of '90s
indie/dance, while also embracing the cutting-edge, Get Loaded In The Park comes to Cardiff for its second successive year.
