About Bloodstock Open Air 2006

Winner of the 2005 UK Festival Award for 'Best New Festival', the Open Air version of the independent metal festival, Bloodstock, triumphantly returns for its second year with more bands and even bigger a bang.

Inspired by the 'Monsters Of Rock' shows of the 80s and early 90s, Bloodstock aims to recreate the passion and spirit of the legendary events, as well as provide heavy rock fans with a festival to rival those regularly taking place throughout Europe.

The action all unfolds across two stages, with some of the hardest new metal bands expected to dominate the bill. There's also a camp site, market stalls, and a bar. What else do you need?
