BIG SESSION FESTIVAL 2006

Following on from last years' sell-out debut, Oysterband return with their second signature festival.

Again set in the De Montfort Hall and its surrounding four acre gardens, 2006 brings much more music, an expanded outdoor venue, a larger beer tent with open mic space, more sessions and a bigger market place.

Again set in the De Montfort Hall and its surrounding four acre gardens, 2006 brings much more music, an expanded outdoor venue, a larger beer tent with open mic space, more sessions and a bigger market place.

Over the weekend a brand new array of very special guests from the world of folk and roots music will perform their own full length sets over two stages, indoor and out, peaking with the Oysters headline appearance on Saturday night.

As well as artists performing in their own right there will be lunchtime and impromptu sessions, a ceilidh, a children's area and more throughout the weekend.less
