About Beverley Folk Festival 2011
The 28th annual Beverley Folk Festival will take place in the shadow of the historic Beverley Minster in this beautiful East
Riding market town.
It promises to offer 3 nights & 2 days of breathtaking music from International Artists, Dance,
Comedy, Spoken Word, Acoustic Sessions, Workshops for all ages, Children's events, Craft Stalls, Real Ale, Camping & much
more with the "Festival Village" being the centre of events at the Beverley Leisure Complex, HU17 0LT
The 'Americana Mini
Fest' element introduced in 2009 continues to grow every year with more artists appearing from the USA.
The 'Festival
Village' located on the Greenfield area of the complex, grows in popularity each year and features a total of 3 music venues;
Wold Top, Concert and Children's marquees, offering Non Stop performances.
The famous 'Late Night Festival Club' continues
to cater for those wishing to see more wonderful acts late on into the night plus the odd surprise guest.
2010 saw
the addition of 'The Village Green' located in 'The Festival Village' which offers free tasters of what the festival has to
offer in its venues. Many other events take place in the Leisure Complex such as the headline acts.
