About Beverley Folk Festival 2010
Running for nearly 30 years, thousands of visitors are expected to head to Beverley Folk Festival, with its increasingly
popular Festival Village, for a weekend under the shadow of the town's historic Minster.
The Festival all started
when a group of friends from the local White Horse Folk Club pooled their talents and resources to create an event to be proud
of and over the years, it has grown bigger and better and now attracts artists and audiences from all over the world.
The
festival will offer three nights and two days of music, dance, comedy and the spoken word along with concerts, dances, workshops
and informal events. There will also be plus craft, food and music stalls, real ale bars and camping over the weekend.
Events
start at 7.30pm on the Friday, 10.00am on Saturday and Sunday with each day finishing in the popular 'Late Night Festival
Club' featuring live music into the early hours.
