50,000 revellers attended the first edition of Romania's first large scale international festival back in 2007 witnessing a historical Marilyn Manson/Alice Cooper duet and 9 other top headliners.

We can't say whether rock's leading 'ladies' will return in 2009 but B'ESTFEST will definitely be alive and kicking with another eclectic musical mix spread across three stages and an indoor arena.

The digital funfare will give festival goers a chance to externalise their creative imagination on a variety of contraptions while the Screaming Van will be at hand to record groups of screaming voices throughout the weekend.

Silent discos will also be on the agenda as will Dolly the kiss therapist, and proven curer of depression.

Various hostels and hotels are spread Bucharest, the Romanian capital, but if you feel more adventurous why not try the B'ESTFEST sleepover and stay with a likeminded Romanian reveller for the duration of the festival.

Bucharest's Henri Coanda and Aurel Vlaicu international airports both provide extensive links to European countries and further afar while rail links to Romania's neighbouring countries run through Gara de Nord.
