About Beach Break Live 2009

Beach Break Live, the UK's first ever student-only festival is set to return for 2009.

During the day revellers can either relax on the beach or try their hand at the many activities available such as surfing, canoeing and abseiling before the pumping party beats gets the party going until the small hours.

The main stage hosts three different days of music, it opens with surf and ska bands, then funk and soul acts take precedence, before indie and punk bands bring the final night to a riotous close.

There is also a lot of genre-hopping in the DJ Marquee with electro, breakbeat, hip hop, drum n bass and soul blasting out all three days. There are also student bands, theatre and comedy with film screenings taking the festival into the very early hours.

Also look out for world's biggest pyjama party, The Mighty Cornish Goblet, Barn Dancing and Burlesque, adrenalin pursuits and the big fancy dress finale...

No UCAS card or Non Students - Beach Break keeps a limited number of tickets aside for non students. If you have friends that are students or have recently graduated who do not have a valid UCAS card you can still purchase a ticket.

You must be over 18 and ID will be required. To purchase just select 'A non student' on the 'Find you university' drop down list.
