The Rushes at Festivals
The Rushes were a London-based band from 2000 to 2009. Their use of piano, clear vocals and inventive rhythms set them apart from similar rock / indie acts. Whilst signed to Island records they recorded nearly 2 albums worth of material, however little of this was officially released. Their first album was to be called "To The Surface" and was originally intended to be released ~March 2009. Pre-release versions were circulated and are in some cases available over the web. Unfortunately, despite its clean and catchy sound the album is unlikely to ever see official release. The Rushes on Last.fm.
