Love Ends Disaster at Festivals

Love Ends Disaster! are an indie rock band heralding from Nottingham, UK, made up of Suffolk-raised brothers Matt and Jon Dix, singer Matthew Oakes, Fine Artist Robert Sadler, and drummer Mark Thorley. On the basis of their first demo, Volume I, recorded in 2003 and combining the Post-Rock of Mogwai, Talking Heads-inspired rythmns and cutting, spikey guitars reminiscent of Johnny Greenwood and Graham Coxon, the band were snapped up by High Wycombe's Denial Records, responsible for recording the first studio outing of Bloc Party ("Storm & Stress") in 2003.
