There are (at least) 3 bands named The Bandits. 1) A fictional band featured in the German movie "Bandits" (1997). The movie soundtrack, released under the band's name, sold over 700.000 copies in Germany and includes the tracks Catch Me, Puppet and All Along The Watchtower, among others. 2) A classic mersey band of the highest order, The Bandits released their first song in 2001 on the 'Beatin' Planks' compilation. Gaining notority in their local scene for their famed Bandwagon night at Liverpool's Zanzibar club they were signed to B-Unique Records and released (via Warner) one album, '.
