Finally numerous bars and the site's maintained toilets will cater for all of those drawn to the main stage and those who would rather watch the boats go by from a comfy, river bank chaise-longue.
The city of Koln is linked to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam via the Thalys high speed trains while it is also on the German high speed ICE network. International flights run through Cologne Bonn Airport.
