Koln's home grown horrorpunks The Other will also provide an amusing facet to the festival as they mix riffs with horror stories and black humour in a show ideal for the whole family as kids under 12 get in for free.

Finally numerous bars and the site's maintained toilets will cater for all of those drawn to the main stage and those who would rather watch the boats go by from a comfy, river bank chaise-longue.

The city of Koln is linked to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam via the Thalys high speed trains while it is also on the German high speed ICE network. International flights run through Cologne Bonn Airport. less
