Newcastle Community Green Festival

Newcastle Community Green Festival is an environmental, arts and music event that looks to raise awareness of green issues and since 1996 the festival's site has been run entirely on wind, solar, pedal or bio-fuel power.

There are five stages of music and art over the two days of the festival that encompass everything from punk, dance and folk to a capella, funk and nu-jazz. There is also an environmental fair, healing area and kid's area.

There are also food stalls and a range of real ales available from the local brewe
