Latitude
Set in the beautiful, sweeping grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate, Southwold, on the sunrise coast of Suffolk, Latitude was established in 2006 to bring something unique and different to the British summer calendar.
Organised by Mean Fiddler (who also run the Reading and Leeds Festivals) and inspired by the more laid-back and culturally diverse festivals in Europe (as well as the UK?s Haye On Wye literary festival), Latitude is the thinking man?s festival.
The event will hook you in with an impressive musical line-up over several stages, and then seduce you with art, comedy, cabaret, poetry, politics and literature ? the likes of which you never realised you would enjoy so much.
However much fun you have during them, most major festivals inevitably leave you feeling smelly, dirty and primitive. Latitude leaves you feeling stimulated and more highly evolved. Try it out. You?ll be surprised with yourself.
