Jay Z, Panic at the Disco and Beck headlined last year's event which, as always, put a big focus on environmental issues and a carbon neutral approach to energy consumption.

Torp Airport near the town of Sandefjord and Kjevik Airport near Kristiansand both run flights to various European destinations and are connected to Arendal via rail. Oslo is a longer train journey from the festival but provides further European transport links.
