Creamfields

Creamfields has established itself as the jewel in the crown of UK dance festivals since it began life in 1998. The first one-day event took place in Winchester, before the festival moved to Speke Airfield in Cream's spiritual home of Liverpool.

Held on the August bank holiday weekend, it rapidly gained its rightful reputation as THE closing party of the summer, with its ever-impressive array of major live acts and world class DJs.

In 2006 Creamfields moved to a new site in nearby Cheshire, heralding a new era in the festival's rich history.

The brainchild of James Barton, founder of the Cream clubbing brand, Creamfields is the most successful UK festival to have been exported overseas with Creamfields events having taken place as far afield as Andalucía (Spain), Punchestown (Ireland), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Istanbul (Turkey), Mexico City (Mexico), Moscow (Russia), Prague (Czech Republic), Santiago (Chile), São Paulo (Brazil) and Wroc?aw (Poland).
